The newest Streak integration and automation feature is here: action buttons in your pipelines.

Action buttons allow you to create and add custom buttons in your pipelines. When you press the button, you’ll trigger a predetermined integration or automation in that pipeline.

More control over your integrations and automation

Native integrations and automation already speed up your workflows by automating repetitive tasks and entering information from other apps and tools you use daily. Now, action buttons give you even more control by allowing you to initiate an automation at exactly the right time in your workflow.

Unlike automated webhooks and workflows which run continually in the background, action buttons allow you to selectively sync Streak to other systems and run automations. Rather than triggering an automation anytime a certain event happens, you can manually choose when to trigger it based on cues and your own judgment.

How do action buttons automate your CRM?

When you press an action button, you’ll start an automation for that specific box.

For example, you can create a set of tasks for a box when the button is pressed. This is particularly useful when you need to complete tasks that aren’t necessarily associated with a specific stage in your pipeline, but can happen at any time.

Once you create your custom action button, it will appear in the box view for each box in the pipeline.

You can also choose to display action buttons in a dedicated column in your pipeline, which makes it easier to trigger automations while you’re working in the pipeline view.

If you need to trigger automations for multiple boxes, select the boxes in the pipeline view and press the action button to run the automation for each box.

Finally, you’ll also find your action buttons in the Streak sidebar when viewing emails that have been added to a pipeline. This allows you to trigger a CRM automation right from your Gmail inbox.

Want to automate more than one thing in your pipeline? Create multiple action buttons, each associated with a different automation. This gives your team more control over integrations and automations in your pipelines.
