What's your morning beverage of choice? Any special way to prepare it?
Taking a break from my first love, coffee, to try MUD\WTR. (Finally gave into all the ads following me around the internet...) I like blending it up with hot water and full-fat coconut milk.

Do you tend to be more of a morning person or a night owl?
Morning person - I always feel like I'm "stealing" those early morning hours before everyone else is awake.

What's the last book you read?
Red: Passion and Patience in the Desert by Terry Tempest Williams

Next place you want to go on vacation?
Japan or Portugal

Favorite TV show growing up?
I grew up without TV!

Favorite sports team or player?
I don't follow many sports, but always loved watching Rafael Nadal play tennis.

What is a talent or passion that you have that most people don't know about?
I've dabbled in a bunch of different kinds of textile art - from weaving to knitting to sewing and natural dying. Currently on a sewing kick making a Japanese capsule collection from the Nani Iro Sewing Studio book.

What's your favorite dish to cook at home?
Right now I love making soups and carnitas (hello, Fall)..

If you could start a charity (or have already!), what would it benefit?
Climate change - maybe by specifically focusing on carbon-neutral food systems.

What are you most likely to be found doing in your free time?
Mountain biking, skiing, surfing, or completely losing track of time with aforementioned sewing projects.

What's something you do that's time consuming, but totally worth it?
Trying to get a good night's  sleep.
